After taking a 9 month hiatus from WoW to cure world hunger and bring peace to the Middle East, the savior of Alterac Mountains has returned on a shiny new prot paladin.
That said, Virulent's officers have returned to the game after a long break and we'd like to raid again.
Our current goal is to recruit enough members for a competent and skilled 10 normal/heroic ICC-raiding group. Due to the abysmal state of Alterac Mountains, recruiting for a 25 man guild seems a daunting challenge, though if there's enough support we'd definitely love to raid 25 man raids again.
We are currently recruiting skilled, competent and active DPS, healers and tanks. There's really no gear score requirement because, quite frankly, this game is a joke now. All we ask is that you know how to play your class, move out of fire/purple circles/spinning mobs/patches of ice, don't stand in front of the boss, watch the tail, and know how to put gems in sockets and enchantments on gear. Honestly, this game is far too easy for anyone to be bad, so please don't ruin my lackluster faith in humanity by applying if you're retarded.
We ask that interested players have a hardcore raiding mindset with no desire for drama or repair bills. Our goal is to log in, down whatever content we've scheduled for the night, and be able to log off without having nightmares of raiders standing in fire. Please, don't stand in the fire.
Our proposed raiding schedule is Monday-Wednesday, 8pm-midnight server time (est). As I said, we're primarily recruiting for 10 man ICC hard modes, but if we find 25 competent people, we're definitely interested in 25 man raiding.
For those new to the server, Virulent was disbanded in the summer of last year mostly due to me quitting the game to pursue some real life goals without the hassle of leading a guild and nightly raids. Virulent made a mark on Horde side of AM by being one of the few guilds to treat its members with respect and fairness while requiring superb performance from its raiders. We hope to revive the guild and server through effiecent and skilled raiding.
To apply, please visit our (somewhat outdated >.>) website at http://virulentam.wowstead.com . Feel free to whisper Rhetoric, Syrul/Moostompa, or Dernis with any questions. -

This past weekend we set out to do some more hard modes on 10 man and managed to get two Keepers down in hard mode; more 10 man hard modes should be coming this week, along with (hopefully) a Yogg kill on 25 man.
